Baby #5 Story, Part I

**This post has been in my drafts to post since March. Just saying.** Yep. You (the two people who may actually still check my blog) heard me. Obviously, I wouldn't be lying. It really does take having another baby to get to me to actually write a blog post! Why is that? Probably because a baby birth story tends to be a bit longer than the paragraph-at-most that I put on facebook. Want the short(ened a bit) version? Here it goes... We have a full family. Three beautiful girls and a handsome son. Four children makes for a pretty big family already, right? Primary Scripture

This post is overdue, but I really feel the need to blog about it. Because it's so cute & funny. Last Sunday, the Bubbs had her first opportunity to give the scripture and prayer in Primary (children's Sunday School). I was soo excited ALL week, because I just knew that she would be the cutest darn kid in the whole world and would be perfect in every way. We practiced. We put in a bandaid bookmark in her own set of scriptures. We pretended we were talking into a microphone. Anticipation mounted (for me, not for her... she couldn't have cared less really). And there we were. She didn't look quite as imagined (I was at Ward Council so her dad did her hair...) but still cute as a button. She sat on the chair and waited for her turn. I stepped out to check on something for YW and came back in when the song had finished. There was my Sunbeam, standing at the microphone... PICKING HER NOSE! This was not how I'd imagined it, people. MIA Again

I'm not following my posting goals. Not because I don't want to... I spent 2 hours in urgent care this morning, was sent to the hospital and was in the ER for 5 hours because they were worried about meningitis. Good News: The spinal tap was normal! No meningitis. And I'm home tonight. And they gave me narcotics. :) Bad News: They hope it's just a bad virus, but if it doesn't improve dramatically within 24 hours, they will probably ask me to come back in for a CAT scan. And if there's something wrong there, I won't be making my Utah trip on Friday :( Also, I have a friend going in for a C-section tomorrow and I was supposed to watch her daughter and now I can't do it and I feel like a flake.
